This video essay was created largely as an in-kind contribution and as part of a youth storytelling program designed to train emerging storytellers in documentary techniques.

Los Artistas del Barrio (LADB) unites Western New York’s Latino/a/x and Hispanic artists across all genres—celebrating creativity, culture, collaboration, and community while sharing their heritage and roots through art.

This project was produced in conjunction with Spark Filmmakers Collaborative Visual Storytelling Basics workshop with Los Artistas Del Barrio.
